Enabling a video generator

A video generator's enabled status determines whether it will automatically run on each newly ingested robolog.

A newly created video generator is disabled by default. Once you publish and successfully test the first version, you may enable it.

Reminder: You must test a newly published version before our platform will run it on newly ingested robologs. The latest, successfully tested version is used for normfill invocations—not necessarily the latest published version.

Enabling from video generator dashboard

  1. Click the ( ⋮ ) context menu for the video generator you want to enable.
  2. Click "Enable".

Enabling from video generator's details page

  1. Navigate to the video generator's detail page.
  2. Click "Enable".

Viewing results

As with all other invocation types, you may access the status and results of a video generator normfill invocation from the invocations list in a video generator's details page.

You are now all set up to have your video generator run on newly ingested robologs. The following section provides details about video generator backfill invocations, when you may want to invoke them, and how to do so.
